QEnts is made up of undergraduate students and is responsible for putting on events around college for everyone. Led by the QEnts President who also sits on the JCR Committee, they typically organise three ‘bops’ (parties) a term in the Fitzpatrick Hall, along with ‘Bounce’ (a summer party) on Erasmus lawn during Easter Term. Alongside this, smaller events and entertainment is organised and put on throughout term time in Queens’.
Amelia works with the bar and catering department to organise any events requiring use of the QBar space. She also has input on bar based matters (such as drinks served), so let her know of any suggestions. Amelia is also responsible for putting together QEnts’ smaller events.
Toby is in charge of the technical elements of events, and also oversees QTech, a group of students involved with sound, lighting, and other production elements of any events put on. If you are interested in getting involved with any of this (past experience not required!) feel free to drop him a message on social media
Any further questions on QEnts and the work they do, just get in contact with the QEnts President (jcr-ents-president@queens.cam.ac.uk or on Facebook / Instagram)
